30×30. It equals 900. It’s not my dimensions. It’s not my weight. It’s not my IQ.

I’d gladly take it as my IQ, though.

 

Dubbed one of the many "Blonde IQ Tests." For what it's worth, I am not a blonde. I also do not think blonde's are stupid. You're smart people too. Most, much more so than I. 😉

 

 

30×30 was my workout! Actually, it’s Kelly’s workout, which I stole. And accomplished. Katie knows what I’m talking about.

It took me exactly 70 minutes, from start to finish, completing 30 reps of 30 exercises. It was awesome, in a painful, masochistic sort of way. And of course, I loved it.

So, the workout went a little somethin’ like this…

  1. push ups
  2. crunches
  3. pull ups (mine were assisted)
  4. hanging abs
  5. split jumps
  6. side planks (30 each side)
  7. Bosu squats (standing on the flat sides)
  8. russian twists on stability ball (30 each side)
  9. bar curls (I used a 35 pound bar)
  10. low plank – knees to elbows (30 total)
  11. tricep rope push down (I used 45 pounds)
  12. supine floor bridges
  13. medicine ball slams
  14. windshield wipers (30 total)
  15. dumbbell pistons (I used a 25 lb DB)
  16. hi plank – legs in and out
  17. bar goodmornings (I used 85 pounds)
  18. V-ups
  19. Dumbbell chest press (I used 20 pound DB’s)
  20. diver crunch
  21. reverse grip lat pull down (I used 50 pounds)
  22. ball twists
  23. bench dips
  24. Skaters (30 each way)
  25. Step ups (30 each leg)
  26. TRX supermans
  27. reverse lunges (30 each leg)
  28. suicide planks
  29. static lunge with medball hi-lo toss (30 each leg)
  30. bird dogs

Aaaaaaaaaand then I was done. *wipes sweat from brow*

I did this in between training a client and going to work. When I finally got to my full time job, it was 9 am… and I felt like it was 1 pm… so much packed into one early morning. And then I snacked on these…

And that was Friday. Today is Saturday. Ahhhhh, wonderful, lazy Saturday. not... the lazy part, it’s still wonderful in my eyes.

  2. Crazy workout! Are you still doing a certain lifting program? I am on stage 3 of New Rules of Lifting for Women. I have no clue what to do when I am done!

  3. As soon as this stupid shoulder and stupid hip get out of the penalty box… I’m on this workout like sweat on a spin bike!

  4. I just hiked 12 miles today, so obviously my energy is improving. But that 30×30 sounds like it would kill me! And you did it in between one job and another, all before 9am? You’re incredible…

  5. oh my god this is GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i feel like i would want to die by number 15 haha but i seriously love this. i’m also loving your banana breaf in the last post! we have so many bananas so if i’m looking for some procrastination i might just dabble in this dept tomorrow 🙂

  6. Wow! That workout sounds intense! My fun thing today was a little bit of shopping I got in (plus some rare blogging catch-up time!!!) And now back to the grind!!!

  8. Man, I would love to do that type of workout. I think I need to find a boot camp to kick my butt this summer. Those treats look amazing!! When will we get the recipe? They look right up my alley.

  11. Wow, girl! You did 30 reps of tri presses with 45 pounds?!?! I think I used 30….I blame the pulled muscle in my shoulder. Or something.

    Totally need to do that workout. Don’t have a TRX band so I better really look through the list and plan out how I’m going to do this lol.

    How did you do the workout? You finish one exercise before you do the next, right? But did you do 1 set of 10…rest, then another set, rest, then another? And THEN do the next exercise? And how long did you typically rest for?

    Phew. Lots of questions.

    And I seriously want to make those bars now! Can’t wait for the recipe (unless it’s one you’ve already posted…?).

    1. I did as many reps as I could during each workout. I took small breaks if I needed them for some of the moves, like the pull-ups… but the rest I just dived right in!

      Ok, there was a little rest in between as I searched for space for a mat or whatnot in the gym.

  13. omg I sooo what to do this!! Gah I wish I had access to a gym where I could use their equipment! Think you can come up with 30 exercises for me using only my bodyweight, a kettlebell and some hand weights? 😉
