Double Chocolate Chunk Granola? There’s an Enjoy Life Foods review for that.

September 10, 2011

Alina, the wonderful marketing associate with Enjoy Life Foods, was awesome enough to send me a large bag of Enjoy Life Foods Granola to review on What Runs Lori. Today, review I will. You may have seen this delightful, chocolaty granola floating around my blog here and there. Because I’m definitely enjoying it.

I’ve been enjoying it on top of smoothies and straight out of the bag (I’m hiding hoarding it from everyone I know…). Sometimes I pour some in a bowl with almond milk. Most of the time it’s just from the bag, though.

I’m just being honest…

Anyway, here is my official review of one of my favorite brands, Enjoy Life Foods.

Enjoy Life Foods.

This brand is great for a few reasons. First, they make some crazy, delicious chocolates that are free of soy, dairy, gluten, junk, and they still taste amazing. Addictive actually. And wonderful in baked goods. See my Brunette’s Enjoy Life Blondies post for more delicious details.

Second, their granola, like the one I’ve totally been enjoying, is some of the best granola I’ve had. It’s definitely not Paleo, but sometimes a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. Ya know?

With tiny chunks of their “junk”-free chocolate chips, this Double Chocolate Crunch granola is coated with cocoa powder and contains just the right amount of sweet to salty balance. And after checking out the ingredient list, I figured out that their secret ingredient for this granola is rosemary extract. Weird but kinda intriguing, no?

The granola is super crunchy pieces of brown rice flakes and rice crisps. It does contain some evaporated cane juice, which I’m not a huge fan of, but it still tastes great. (duh… it’s sugar)

So, my question for you is, have you Enjoyed Life today?

I did! I’m actually on a 7 day cleanse, starting yesterday, and went on an hour walk, drank tons of water, yummy Celestial Seasonings Tea, and relaxed.  (Interested in the 7 day cleanse? Good! You get a post on that very soon!)
