Holiday “Butterscotch” Granola

November 26, 2011

I was in a mood for granola the other day. I wanted something crunchy and filling to top my green smoothies. I also had a lack of ingredients to choose from so I went with what I had. The finished product was worthy of blogging with taste, easy, and that crunch that I was looking for.

This granola is really great on top of the Greek yogurt and Customized Cranberry Sauce recipe that is posted here. The butterscotch flavor comes from the combination of spices and it tastes similar, but not exact, like butterscotch. Try it and adjust the flavors based on your taste preferences!

How was your Thanksgiving? Any fun and different/unique foods or recipes you had??

Sounds so good! Good travel food too (I just got back from my travels, and missed Thanksgiving).
