Giveaway: Nacheez. And Giveaway Winner!

Have you heard of Nacheez?

It’s cheesy, it’s saucy, it’s just like nacho cheese!

But… It’s dairy-free and vegan. Oh, and Paleo!

And pretty darn good.

Made of only pure ingredients, meaning it’s a free ride to cheesy goodness. And any healthy nachos of choice. And tons of great looking recipes found here. I already have my list of recipes to try out.

The first time I tried Nacheez I was at a natural foods store where owner and creator, Ilsa of Love & Joy Foods, had a booth set up. She was sampling her product and of course I was there to try it. We got to talking and her enthusiasm for good, healthy foods matched that of mine. I instantly liked her. She was warm and happy and even lived really close to where my parents live.

Anyway, that’s when I first tried this un-cheesy goodness wrapped inside of a fun little glass jar.  Not only is this jar free of dairy and gluten, but it’s free of soy and low in calories and fat. It’s a great source of vitamin B6 and B12, which (being that the product is vegan) most vegans don’t readily get in their everyday diets. It also comes in two flavors: Mild and Spicy.

Blah, blah, blah… all this talking typing. I know, it’s Monday and you’re ready for the giveaway part, right?

Alright, here are the rules to win your Mild and Spicy flavors of Nacheez for your self!

I just visited their site and I like that not only is it gluten-free, but dairy-free and uses cashews to create its creamy texture!

Cellabella January 16, 2012 at 10:28 AM

I’d use it Nacheez in my enchilada recipe, by mixing it with shredded chicken and rolling this filling into corn tortillas. I’d then cover the tortillas in enchilada sauce mixed with more Nacheez before baking it in the oven to get it all warm and gooey :)

I learned that Nacheez is made from a blend of cashews and red bell peppers. Sounds awesome! I love that it’s dairy-free and vegan.

I would use it to make a 5-layer vegan Mexican dip with some lettuce, black beans, guacamole, and salsa. Yum!

One thing I really like about Nacheez is that it doesn’t have a lot of weird ingredients in it like most vegan cheeses!

Hehe….I like that even though they don’t sell anywhere in Wisconsin, there are two stores in the midwest – illinios and Indiana. I like that because it just seems kind of random.

Did I mention that I NEED these?!?!

I would make a big bowl of roasted broccoli and smoother it in this stuff. I’d probably add some chicken too, because I have been loving on chicken lately.

How’s that for a paleo meal?

I’m curious to try this, Lori! I would use this on top of eggs, or on top of my paleo philly cheese stack in place of dairy cheese if it is as tasty as it sounds :)
