CrossFit At Home

April 26, 2012

Health tagline is today’s HAWMC Prompt of the Day. This post is going to be short and sweet, filled with sweat and surrender! (no idea…. sometimes I just write what I think…)

Anyway, the prompt is to Give yourself, your blog, your condition, or some aspect of your health a tagline. Make sure itโ€™s catchy!

Hmmm…

What Runs Lori? This question should be what my tagline is referring to, correct?

How about the banner words above?

What Runs Lori??

Motivator, Nutrition Junkie, Fitness Enthusiast, and so much more…

Waffles from yesterday's post!

Yeah, I like it. We’ll stick with this. Unless you can think of something better. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lately you’ve had your fill of nutrition junkie and motivator words of wisdom. Let’s try some fitness enthusiast writing, shall we?!

Exercise, that’s what runs Lori…

How about a taste of CrossFit action right in the comfort of your own home? Try these…

V-Ups, incase you needed an example.

——

TERRIBLE 20’S

  • 20 SQUATS
  • 20 MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
  • 20 STEP-UPS LEFT LEG
  • 20 STEP-UPS RIGHT LEG
  • 20 CRUNCHES (knees up at 90 degrees)

REPEAT 3 TIMES

(ha, you thought I was going to say 20 times, didn’t you…?)

——

“GET IT”

  • 50 WALKING MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
  • 50 HALF BURPEES
  • “GE-UPS” ALTERNATING LEGS (like turkish get-ups without weight)
  • 50 SQUAT & DIAGONAL REACH ACROSS
  • 50 SIT-UP & CROSS PUNCH

REPEAT 3 TIMES

——

10 x 20

10 rounds of…

  • 20 v-ups
  • 20 dumbbell thrusters
  • 20 bicep curls (with a weight you can do all 20 reps)

——

Whew, short, sweet and exhausting!

Yes, I think most of us have taglines already. I got really annoyed with this prompt and wrote what must be the crankiest post of my life! I hope no one hates me for it…
