Six short weeks out…

That’s it!

I’m currently six weeks out from my first figure show and could not be more excited! I’ve been working my ass off in the gym, the kitchen, and bed (sleeping, people! Get your mind out of the gutter).

I’ve made quite a bit of progress in just a few short weeks and thrilled to share some of my physique updates, tips and tricks with you. Today I’m at 6 weeks out but below shows how much progress has been made from starting week 12 to week 7…

@ 12 Weeks Out:

Body Fat Percentage (BFP): 24

Weight: 141

 

@ 10 Weeks Out:

BFP: 20.4

Weight: 135

 

@ 7 Weeks Out:

BFP: 18.5

In three short weeks, I lowered my body fat by 3% (that’s a percentage a week!). I’ll take it!

This also means that while body fat went down, muscle actually went up! This my friends, is myth’ed to be impossible. I’m super happy with my training, diet and results! Especially since last time I tried this lifestyle, I was miserable and starving my body. 

That’s not to say that I’m not hungry at times, not craving things on occasion, or that I’m not having a few mental breakdowns from time to time… I am. But they are so much more infrequent than I expected this round of prep! I truly believe that the high fat, high protein, low carb way of eating is superior, for me, for figure prep and dieting down.
